Danny Bignotti, born in Mantua, graduated in Computer Engineering from the University of Verona.
After a few years in the IT field, he decided to turn his great passion into a job.

He attended and graduated from SDM, the School of Musical Theatre in Milan. He began working as an actor/singer throughout Italy and abroad. Theme parks, theaters, resorts, cruise ships, traveling museum shows, and short films are just some of his diverse experiences in the entertainment world.

In Mantua, he collaborated with Federica Restani's Ars and for several years with Raffaele Latagliata, director of the STM (Mantua Theatre School), who chose him for his family-friendly musicals produced by the Aida Foundation in Verona. He continues his training with great masters of international theatre such as Jan Fabre, Bob Wilson, and Theodoros Terzopoulos. In Italy, he continued his studies with Daniele Salvo, Melania Giglio, and Marco Brancato. He also deepened his skills in playwriting with Gabriele Di Luca, playwright of the Carrozzeria Orfeo theatre company.

He studies, works, travels, renews himself, transforms himself, learns from the theater, art exhibitions, photography, sculpture, people, the street—everything he needs to achieve a fundamental imbalance. To always try to bring something to the stage that has a reason to exist, anything that isn't himself.

In spring 2021, he launched a new artistic/cultural project dedicated to museums, Dionysus Art Project, in which he interpreted Antonio Ligabue at Palazzo Tarasconi (Parma) in the evocative installation of the exhibition “Ligabue & Vitaloni. Giving Voice to Nature,” conceived and created by Augusto Agosta Tota, Marzio Dall'Acqua, and Vittorio Sgarbi.

In 2022 he staged “THE BLACK SUN”, a monologue that tells the life of Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio.

Since 2023, he has been a collaborative storytelling teacher for film projects dedicated to middle and high schools in the Veneto Region and funded by the Ministry of Culture.

In September 2023, "I AM AN ARTIST" will debut, a dialogue on the life of the painter Antonio Ligabue. It is his first play, which he also performed, directed and staged by Giacomo Andrico.

In October 2024, "AND THEN I'M GONE" will debut, his first theatrical series consisting of three shows dedicated to the lives of great artists of the past, in which he will also stage his new text on Amedeo Modigliani, “BURNING TO LIVE”, again directed and staged by Giacomo Andrico.

"THE REST WILL FOLLOW" is his latest dramatic work, which explores the tormented friendship between two artistic geniuses, Vincent van Gogh and Paul Gauguin, directed by Vanessa Gasbarri.
